During the design for print brief the opportunity arose to create my own custom typeface, inspired by the Viking carvings, ruins and the Antony Burgess , In Loving Memory of Work publication. Perviously I have created a typeface before but this was more relevant and much more complete. Overall the process has been amazingly informative and I have learnt lots about the amount of consideration and time it takes to create a custom typeface. I would like to create some more custom typefaces in the future so this has been great practice.
