Creative Report First mock up

In our group from Lifes a pitch we all spoke about how it could be really useful to bring our creative reports together as the names all together would be really eye catching and hopefully create a platform for us all to show our work and skills. I took it on myself to compile the interviews and be the semi project manger. I think that in terms of distributing my creative report that in a professional printed publication would be really engaging and a great opportunity to try out some editorial design, an area I feel my skills would be use in. I felt that sending the interview back to Jeremy would not really achieve anything but if it is alongside the others in a large publication it would not only be a great way to show of the interview but create something professionally printed.

The initial mock ups as shown used a two column format to ensure the readability was kept as consistent as possible. Then from this working with coloured type and background to make sure each section is clear and different from each-other.
The cover is more of an idea than anything and will need to be improved upon, the focus of this section is the names these will be the most recognisable and engaging part so need to take centre stage of the cover.

For the contents page I looks at the work of Matt Willey on Avaunt magazine as well as the most recent Creative Review contents page. The large numbers have been informed through this research. Overall this has been a good start but the book needs more of a consistency but this will come with time.
