Posting Posters to Sacha Lobe!

The quick project (You've got real mail ) to send something physical to a designer or studio.

Very early on I had thought of an idea to create a poster inspired by the Japanese Sumo posters, where the most successful wrestler is represented with the thickest and largest typeface.

The original poster above, as shown it is really about the use of space and thickness of the type.

The idea was to use this kind of format but using the world cup top goal scorers as the content. Including each of the country flags associated.

This image shows how the final poster came out, it has been reformatted a number of times to unsure the information is readable and clear.

This shows the small brief letter that accompanies the A1 Poster. The idea is for Sascha Lobe to photograph the poster, hopefully put it up or post a picture on instagram. This would show that he has enjoyed what he has seen.

The poster was neatly packed up and posted to Stuttgart Germany.

Overall the project has been an excellent way of forcing my hand into creating something physical and getting it sent off, getting out there early will be important if I am going to get a job somewhere that really pushes my skills and interests me.
